Crystal Clear Hearing & Ear Health came to being when Audiologist, Lisa Rose, decided it was time for a change. Having worked for a number of large hearing care companies, she realised that she was losing sight of the reason she became an Audiologist in the first place: to use her knowledge and skills, along with her kind and compassionate nature, to help people with and educate people about all aspects of their hearing and ear health.

Having grown up in East Sussex, Lisa moved away to attend university, attaining a First Class Bachelors degree in Physics and then going on to attain a Masters degree in Audiology. She initially worked as a Clinical Audiologist within the NHS in Hampshire, but returned to East Sussex in 2013, where she proceeded to work as a Hearing Aid Dispenser for some of the high street hearing care companies in Hastings and Bexhill. It was during the years that followed that Lisa realised that, although there are numerous companies happy to sell hugely expensive hearing aid systems, what was missing from the local area was somewhere to go for advice and support on ear and hearing related matters. Then, in 2017, the local GP surgeries started to withdraw their ear wax removal services. This caused an immense problem, particularly for hearing aid users, who are particularly prone to experiencing an ear wax build up. It also meant that many people were unable to undergo hearing tests. With the GP surgeries advising that patients treat their ear wax build up themselves using a combination of ear drops and self-irrigation, which was proving to be ineffective in the majority of cases, the private hearing care companies took it upon themselves to train their Audiologists in ear wax removal using Microsuction. And so, in 2017, Lisa completed her training in Microsuction at Aston University. Five years later, now with a young family, Lisa took the plunge and branched out on her own, creating Crystal Clear Hearing & Ear Health.

Currently offering ear examinations and Microsuction ear wax removal in Hastings and Bexhill, Lisa's long term plan is to offer a more holistic hearing care service than is offered by most Audiology services. Instead of focusing on the selling of expensive, high-end hearing aids, she will look to offer a wide range of products that can be used to assist those people experiencing reduced hearing. She also hopes to offer a hearing and tinnitus therapy service along with assistance in finding other services and benefits that can help hearing impaired people.
